Note di degustazione
Medium ruby, the 2020 Pinot Noir 3D features very pure, ringing aromas of pomegranate, red cherries, orange zest, charcuterie and earth. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and fresh with chalky tannins, mouthwatering acidity and generous red fruit, finishing very long and layered. What an elegant expression!

The 2020 Pinot Noir 3D displays a more iodine and marine-influenced character as well as both red and black fruits, medium-bodied richness, building tannins, and complex notes of rose petals, scorched earth, forest floor, and spice. Layered, rich, balanced, and structured, it's another magical Pinot Noir from this estate that will benefit from just a year or so in the bottle and keep for 10-15 years in cold cellars. Enough can’t be said about the quality that’s consistently delivered by Greg Brewer’s Brewer-Clifton releases. As always, these wines are basically harvested all at the same time (by vineyard) and are not destemmed, with the aging occurring all in old barrels. The goal here is to show the difference between the vineyards, and I think he succeeds admirably.
The 2020 Pinot Noir 3D is soft and supple, with lovely red berry fruit lending quite a bit of up-front charm and overall immediacy. Touches of blood orange, mint, sage and spice lend quite a bit of presence. Beautifully perfumed and textured, the 2020 is shaping up to be another beauty in this range.
