2017 Under The Wire Chardonnay Alder Springs Vineyard

The 2017 Sparkling Chardonnay Alder Springs Vineyard is gorgeous. Like the Pinot from this site, the Chardonnay is distinguised by its resonance and overall presence. Apricot, lemon confit, dried flowers and sage build in a gorgeous sparkling wine endowed with character. Bright floral and mineral accents lend tension to the finish as the 2017 opens with a bit of air. It’s a serious wine for the dinner table, that much is clear. Disgorged January, 2021.
