The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Dr. Crane Vineyard is a new wine in this range made from a block planted with Clone 6 Cabernet. This is an unusually deep, dark wine from Dr. Crane. Silky tannins and plush contours are all kicked up in this large-scaled, opulent Dr. Crane Cabernet. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, spice, new leather and licorice build into the sumptuous finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard offers a sweet, Pauillac-like bouquet of blackcurrants and cassis as well as tobacco, cedar pencil, and flowery incense. This carries to a ripe, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with wonderful purity, ripe, velvety tannins, no hard edges, and the vintage's ripe, supple, yet incredibly elegant style front and center. It's a gorgeous, classic Dr. Crane Cabernet Sauvignon that benefits from a decant and will evolve for another 20+ years.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Dr. Crane Vineyard is a powerful, brooding wine. This is an especially potent, tannic expression of Dr. Crane, where the wines are usually a bit more aromatic and refined. Low yielding Clone 6 Cabernet on thin soils yields a dark, imposing Cabernet loaded with fruit and hints of graphite.
