2022 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Summa Old Vines

I always love the Pinot Noir Summa Old Vines, and the 2022 is no exception. It’s a touch more reserved on opening at this stage, but it’s bright and layered on the nose, revealing notes of kirsch, fresh rosemary, and wildflowers. It’s elegant as well as mouthwatering on the sides of the palate, but it has more energy and length, with a bit more tension, and is going to need time in cellar. It’s going to drink incredibly well over the coming two decades or more.
