Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. Sexy, complex aromas of black raspberry, Asian spices, cola and potpourri. Sweet, silky and palate-coating, offering intense red and dark berry flavors that show liqueur-like depth and power. Picks up a smoky nuance with air and finishes sweet and long, with fine-grained tannins adding grip.

Beautiful all around, with thrilling raspberry, cherry, crushed rock, licorice and forest floor on the nose, the 2011 Pinot Noir C’est la Vie Wenzlau Vineyard flows onto the palate with a rich, full, yet ethereal texture, no hard edges and perfect balance between its fruit, tannin and acid. Structured and age-worthy, give it a handful of years and enjoy through 2023. Drink 2015-2023. Paul Lato continues to knock it out of the park and I can’t say enough about the quality coming from this estate. Across the board, the wines show classic, varietally correct profiles that always show finesse and elegance, yet back it up with layers of fruit and texture. Tel. (805) 260-3210; www.paullatowines.com
