Note di degustazione
(14. 8% alcohol) Bright red-ruby. Aromas of chocolate, woodsmoke and bacon fat. Concentrated and dry on the palate, with flavors of dark berries, exotic spices and pepper and plenty of chocolatey torrefaction. Less fruity than the Carrie's and a bit drier on the finish.

A Domaine de la Romanee-Conti-like effort is the 2002 Pinot Noir Terraces. Boasting profound aromas, wonderful density, a surreal lightness of being, and a sweet attack of blue and black fruits intertwined with forest floor, flowers, and earth, it possesses superb sweetness, impressive precision, and tremendous harmony. It should drink well for 7-8 years. Tel. (805) 735-7030
Bright, dark red. Hints of sweet oak and cotton candy on the nose. Thick and dense but not especially sweet, with hints of smoke and pepper and an intriguing saline quality. Soil-driven pinot noir, finishing with notes of smoke and meat.
