2016 A.J. Adam Dhroner Hofberg Riesling Trocken

The 2016 Dhroner Hofberg Riesling Trocken opens with an intensely aromatic, very clear, deep and elegant bouquet of ripe fruit aromas intermixed with crushed stone notes. Lush and round on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense, powerful yet refined dry Riesling bottled with a moderate 12% alcohol. The acidity is vital, the finish elegant, mineral and compact, with good tension and mineral freshness. This is an excellent effort! Tasted April 2018.
