Note di degustazione
The 2017 Chardonnay Laguna Valdez Observations Series was aged in 100% new oak—81% in horizontal foudres and 19% in French puncheons. Youthfully tight, it slowly offers crushed stone, lime leaves, fresh peaches, toast and roasted almonds. Medium-bodied, it has a pleasantly rounded texture countered by bright, fresh fruits and tangy acidity, finishing long and full of mineral tension and energy. This is so delicious to drink now for its energy and tang, but it will reward another 2-3 years in bottle. 100 cases produced.

This has an attractively flinty edge with an array of yellow and white peaches and green mangoes. The palate has such clarity and depth here with a succulent, fresh and seamlessly juicy texture. Very stony finish. Superb wine! Drink now.
