2008 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Murgers 1er Cru

Medium red. Reticent nose hints at red cherry, spices and iron. A sweet, supple midweight in the mouth, showing its spicy oak component but not at all hard. A second barrel showed more fruit and less wood, as well as lowish acidity, which is not a bad thing for a 2008.
