2006 Domaine Pierre Damoy Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru

An expressive, ripe and very spicy nose of earthy dark berry fruit aromas nuanced by a hint of animale that is also picked up on the rich, full and sweet flavors that are also impressively concentrated and even more powerful, all wrapped in a mouth coating finish that displays hints of coffee and mocha. This is a relatively structured effort for the vintage and will require at least a decade to be at its best.
