Note di degustazione
Coming from a Santa Lucia Highlands vineyard that was planted in 2006, the 2012 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard is thrilling stuff that’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage. Loaded with perfumed red and black fruits, mushroom, cured meats and spice, it shows the darker, more earthy side to the variety. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully layered and textured, it’s a killer bottle of wine to drink over the coming 4-6 years, possibly longer.

The 2012 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard is deep, fleshy and expressive. Dark red and black stone fruits open up in a textured, powerful Pinot loaded with class. The 35-40% whole clusters are virtually impossible to detect in this impeccable, juicy, expressive Pinot. Hints of sage, rosemary, game, smoke, black fruit and leather add complexity on the deep, powerful close.
