Note di degustazione
A significant step up over the Merlot and Cabernet releases I was able to taste, with not a hint of rusticity or dryness to its tannin, the 1997 Sorella is gorgeously pure and layered, with a floral component in its black currants, crushed rocks, wild herbs and earth-driven bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, seamless, silky and beautifully polished, this is a straight up class act that's drinking gorgeously today.

Deep ruby-red. Superripe, slightly floral aromas of cassis, bitter cherry, blueberry, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate; complex and captivating. Lush, silky and highly concentrated, with harmonious acidity intensifying the dark fruit flavors. Slow-building aftertaste features a strong tannic clout. A very well-made wine that will need aging.
