Note di degustazione
The 2020 Corton Les Perrières Grand Cru has an odd nose. A touch of fish oil intermixes with the red and black fruit, iodine and iris flower. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and a keen line of acidity. This is one of the spicier Cortons in this flight. It has a decent grip, focused with a touch of iodine on the finish; this is a very satisfying Corton that should age well in bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

One of the highlights of the range this year is the 2020 Corton Grand Cru Les Perrières, a vibrant, mineral wine evocative of wild berries, forest floor, rich spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and vibrant, with beautifully refined tannins and a long, penetrating finish, it's well worth seeking out.
The 2020 Corton-Perrières Grand Cru has a refined nose that gently unfurls in the glass with dark cherries and bilberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe and quite bold tannins, fine acidity, quite dense and a little sinewy yet maintaining fine definition. Give this 4-5 years in bottle.
