This has the house rich style but is still remarkably youthful. Rich and gorgeous with ripe cherry fruit but also crisp and finely etched. Glorious. (JR)

Rich and almost treacly in the concentrated, dramatic, sweet Drouhin-Laroze style. Almost thick. Lots to enjoy and it just about stood up to the cheeses though some tasters finished off the magnum of Meursault Perrières with the cheese. (JR)

Low-key nose, sweet and a little febrile. Stewed-plum flavours. Just a bit bruised in the fruit department, though pretty persistent. Very dry finish. (JR)

Very sweet and gentle and utterly beguiling. Great clarity and richness to boot. Lots of structure though so don’t rush! (JR)
