Note di degustazione
An earthy and maturing but bright nose features notes of mostly red berries along with hints of underbrush and anise. The delicious, vibrant and nicely textured medium weight flavors are relatively supple, and especially so for a relatively young Clos Vougeot in magnum format, while delivering very fine depth and persistence on the still mildly austere finale. This is coming along very nicely and while it's not quite fully mature, at least not for my preferences, it's sufficiently close that it could easily be enjoyed now. In a word, lovely.

Deep crimson. Quite opulent. Sweet and juicy and really quite a pleasure. Vibrant and sinewy. A little dry on the finish. (JR)
Medium red. Slightly musky nose began tight but showed black cherry and menthol with air. Then very sweet, fruit-driven and light on its feet, with pungent red berry flavors spreading out to saturate the palate without giving any impression of weight. Offers superb intensity of fruit and length. A splendid showing today, but this also has the acid/tannin spine for a long and positive evolution in bottle.
