100% new oak. Barrel sample – already racked from barrel to barrel. Rather reluctant on the nose, just a little bit of smoky char and sweet/sour dark fruit. Unexpectedly succulent on the palate, and juicy with lots of freshness and tension on the finish. There’s power and length and harmony for a long life. A very distinctive style. Handsome and stylish.
