2012 Graacher Domprobst Spätlese Auktion 13 22

Almost an Auslese, the citric and flinty/slate flavored 2012 Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spätlese #13, with its piquant grapefruit aromas, offers ripe peach and yellow-fleshed nectarines on the rich and sweet but elegant and mineral palate. It has more juiciness and texture than the Spätlese #05, and needs more time to reach the drinkability and animation of #05. But the richness takes it up a notch.
