2017 Zinfandel Old Vine

Certainly jammy, certainly heady, certainly Zinfandel. Fully loaded with juiciness and peppery spice, and a dead ringer for Grenache in many ways. However, there seems to be lightness to the mid-palate, which is not quite expected for Zinfandel, especially from old vines. Diesel-powered finish, thanks to all that alcohol. (RH)
