2023 Pinot Noir Passion

Tasted from the barrel, Martin Donatsch's 2023 Pinot Noir Passion shows ripe and sweet, concentrated and fleshy red fruit aromas such as cherries intertwined with licorice. Gentle, delicate and elegant on the palate, this is a seductively round and ripe, very elegant Pinot with fine tannins and an almost Mediterranean character. Martin is a great fan of the 2023 vintage, and I am looking forward to tasting the whole series in spring next year, soon before or after the bottling. Tasted at the domaine in March this year.
