Note di degustazione
Savory, perfumed and nicely layered, the 2011 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard is laced with crushed flowers, herbs, tobacco and dried cherries. This mid-weight, nicely focused Pinot is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years. I wouldn't wait too long, however, as the fruit is likely to start drying out given the wine's mid-weight structure.

(made with 30% whole clusters): Deep ruby. Highly expressive aromas of blackberry, Asian spices, cola and lavender, with a touch of licorice adding depth. Penetrating and precise, with energetic dark berry and bitter cherry flavors staining the palate. Chewy tannins add grip and structure to the very long, spicy and sharply focused finish.
