The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon isn't quite as sexy right now as the Cabernet Franc but it, too, has plenty of stuff going on. Juicy dark berries, cassis, spices, pencil shavings, licorice and mint all take shape in this generous, radiant, totally inviting wine. A dark, authoritative finish rounds things out in style. There is plenty of Oakville terroir in this beautifully delineated wine. The 2009 is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc.
