2015 Piesporter Goldtropchen Spatlese

The 2015 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Spätlese offers a clear, deep and complex nose with very elegant but discreet fruit aromas. The wine is sweet, round, clear and elegant on the palate, with a beautifully crystalline acidity and lingering salinity. This is a gorgeous, mouth-filling Spätlese with a lingering finesse and salinity. However, I recommend cellaring this wine for another 7-10 years, during which time the wine will gain even more finesse and precision, and its sweetness will reduce.
