2015 San Andreas Fault Estate Pinot Noir

The 2015 Pinot Noir San Andreas Fault is soft, silky and nuanced, with lovely berry and floral character. Sweet red cherry, white pepper, mint and orange peel add attractive shades of brightness. Time in the glass brings out the wine's inner sweetness and sensuality. Medium in body and gracious in feel, the San Andreas is the most approachable and easygoing of the Hirsch 2015s. I would prefer to drink it sooner rather than later given the wine's mid-weight structure.
