Punteggio 16.5/20 · Da bere 2010-2016, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Feb 2013

TA 6.9 g/l, pH 2.89. Sulphidic elements giving a flinty, mineral character plus apricot fruit – but with something citric keeping it fresh and zesty. Ageing well, and has more to give. (RH)

Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2011-2015, Mark Squires, Oct 2011

The 2007 Thalassitis is in very fine shape. Opening dry, bright and crisp, the acidity has nonetheless integrated beautifully and as the wine warms up it provides delightful fruitiness to go with the purity of fruit and the hint of lemon-lime. In its youth, it was hard edged; now, it has a certain burnished maturity, fresh and youthful still, but well integrated and beautifully balanced. It has come around just as I hoped it would and seems to be aging gracefully. It is at or close to peak now, but should continue to hold in very fine form for at least another few years, and maybe beyond. Let’s be conservative and we’ll see when we get there. Drink now-2015.
