The 2019 Alte Reben is sourced all along the middle Mosel between Bernkastel and Kinheim. It opens with a fascinating, pure, slatey and floral bouquet of crushed stones, blossoms and yellow fruits. Silky and crystalline on the pristine, immaculate palate, this is an intense, lush and piquant, very elegant and stimulating, fine and salty as well as slatey-tannic Mosel Riesling of great class and style. This is a fabulous Mosel Riesling that Riesling lovers should definitely buy to be absolutely amazed. Tasted in May 2021.
