Dense, spicy and sweet-fruited. Jammy but not stewed – there is still enough freshness here. Lovely texture to the palate, as if unfiltered maybe? (RH)

Bright purple. Aromas of dark berry liqueur, woodsmoke, mocha and licorice are lifted by a peppery topnote. Smooth, sweet and densely packed, offering spicy black and blue fruit flavors that spread out nicely on the back half. Bitter chocolate and vanilla nuances come up on the long, chewy finish, which features dusty tannins and a touch of cracked pepper.
