Note di degustazione
At the higher end of the alcohol spectrum, these Martinelli Zinfandels are powerful wines for sure, but I hasten to add that they are beautifully balanced and in terms of flavor, tannin and complexity, they represent the pinnacles of ripeness in every sense. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Zinfandel Giuseppe and Luisa is scented of dried mulberries, plum preserves and blueberry pie with suggestions of hoisin sauce, sandalwood and sautéed herbs. With generous black berry preserves and spice flavors on the very full-bodied palate, it is a mouthful of rich, plush, pure hedonism.

A rich, boisterous wine, the 2015 Zinfandel Giuseppe & Luisa is explosive in the glass. Here, too, the flavors are bright and vibrant. Red-toned fruit and expressive floral notes abound. Voluptuous and intense, the 2015 possesses tremendous thrust in its flavors and overall feel. Even with all of its intensity, the 2015 retains considerable freshness and acidity to play off the forward fruit.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
