Note di degustazione
The 2012 Tête de Cuvée Galpin Peak Pinot Noir is a selection of the best 12 barrels. The nose is nicely focused with pure red cherry, cranberry and cold stony scents that blossom in the glass, almost Volnay-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly minty opening, plenty of crunchy red berries, cranberry and spice with a structured, quite linear finish that will hopefully muster more persistence with bottle age, though I do appreciate the very saline aftertaste that urges another sip.

(14% alcohol): Dark red-ruby. Pungent blueberry aroma. Concentrated and sweet, but with a dried-fruit quality and a raisiny element that limits its appeal. Not my preferred style of Pinot.
