Cask sample. Mealy and apricot-kernel nose – quite restrained. Ripe honey, apricot, white-flower and bergamot notes. Good richness and weight, without being oily. Very attractive with a saline note on the finish. (AC)

Mango and apricot aromas with a touch of almond. Rich on the palate with impressive concentration, but it’s tightened by discreet supporting oak and a mineral sheen. The acidity is low, but it’s very classic with a long finish. From a parcel in Saint-Pierre-de-Boeuf, 20% new oak.
