2021 Galpin Peak Pinot Noir Tete de Cuvee

This is a special wine made from a selection of the best eight barrels. The Bouchard Finlayson 2021 Hemel-en-Aarde Valley Pinot Noir Tête de Cuvée Estate Wine is only made in the best vintages and has been produced in seven of the last 10 vintages. A few of them, such as 2015, 2019 and 2021, are standouts. It ages in 50% to 60% new oak and presents a finessed, mid-weight texture with cassis, blue flower, spice and spent ember. I like the natural freshness of this wine.
