Note di degustazione
Medium depth of youthful crimson. Lots of fresh ripe black fruit – still very primary aromas, and a touch of liquorice. Quite modern? Then firm dense tannins. Seems pretty young. Thick but fresh finish. (JH)

Medium red-ruby. Explosive, high-toned aromas of raspberry and flowers. Denser and sweeter than the basic bottling, with distinctly high-toned flavors of exotic spices, pepper and woodsmoke. Then rather subtle and firm on the back half. Still, I find the 2000 version of this bottling stronger in the context of the vintage.
Dark red color; currently lighter than the basic cuvee, but that's because this needs a racking. Slightly reduced aromas of raspberry, cherry, spices and pepper. Denser, sweeter and suppler than the generique, with peppery red fruit flavors. A bit difficult to assess at its current stage of evolution, but certainly richer and longer than the basic wine. Tannins are sweet and ripe.
