One of the more muscular and dark-fruited wines in this line-up. Dark cherries. Still with a glossy and seamless entry, but the muscular tannin cuts through and builds a more strict wine. The result is almost tangy, with cherry blossom and firm tannins lingering on the finish. Will reward some patience. (TP)

Descended from the Gros family of Vosne-Romanée, Anne-Françoise Gros established her own domaine in 1988. Today her children, Caroline and Mathias Parent, run the estate, which has some impressive holdings, focused in and around Vosne-Romanée.
