Note di degustazione
The 2024 Riesling Isolation Ridge is a fuller-flavored expression that offers robust aromas of orchard fruits and potpourri accented by subtle spicy oak. The palate is creamy textured, with lacy acidity and a broad-shouldered shape, while subtle phenolics add an attractive grip to the finish.

Apple, lemon, lime, steely and chalky – there’s substance and complexity here. Persistent and pure. Creamy texture offset by balanced, tangy acid. Sophisticated and eloquent. (RH)
The 2024 Isolation Ridge Riesling is superb. The nose is littered with talcy florals, wet chalk, scratched lime zest, orange oil, white pepper and freshly mown fennel. In the mouth, the acidity spears across the palate—like a javelin slicing through the wind, it sails with purpose and direction through the long finish. This is precise, focused, powerful and even strident. It's excellent. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
Picked three weeks earlier than usual. Slightly clearer juice now which helps a more fruitful ferment. 24–48 hours settling . Fermentation (not usually spontaneous) in tank . 5% into barrel (but often 15%). 10 months on lees and bottling about the end of the year. RS 3.7 g/l Very pale indeed. Bit smokier than the estate Riesling, more lime, steely and more intense. Chalky finish. Should age well. (JR)
