2021 Riesling Marienburg Kabinett Fass 2127

From old, ungrafted vines, the 2021 Marienburg Kabinett Fass 2127 (Auction) is from an upper plot close to the Marienburg castle and opens with a super clear, pure and flinty/iodine, fresh nose. Lush and round but light and filigreed on the palate, this is a saline and tensioned, very delicate and light-footed Kabinett with good freshness and grip. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
