Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2028-2038, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, May 2026

The 2023 Cornas Les Chailles, sourced from the lower slopes of the combes across lieux-dits such as Patou, La Fontaine, Reynard, Chaillot and Mazards, was entirely destemmed. It reveals aromas of cassis, raspberry, dark berries, lilac and violet. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and enveloping, it’s layered and silky and built around a supple core of fruit that carries through to a long, ethereal finish marked by dark fruit nuances. This is a particularly approachable and velvety Cornas.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2026-2041, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2026

From a mix of terroirs, mostly from the lower lieux-dits with some younger vines from Saint-Pierre, the 2023 Cornas Les Chailles was completely destemmed and aged 18 months in 228-liter oak barrels with no new oak. It's a beautiful classic Cornas with ripe black fruits, bouquet garni, and peppery, violet nuances. It's medium to full-bodied, round, supple, and undeniably delicious. Drink bottles over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2041. This was another terrific lineup from Alain Voge. The 2023s here are rock solid, with good ripeness and lifted, exotic profiles. The 2024s shine in this vintage, and while it was challenging, there's plenty to like in the releases here.

Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2027-2033, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, Jan 2026

The 2023 Cornas Les Chailles leads with subtle reduction accompanied by ripe black cherry, graphite dust and glints of cedar. Dried violets add a floral lift. Midlevel-bodied and smooth, the 2023 is gently rooted in polished tannins, drawing the last notes forward with articulate freshness on the savory finish.

Punteggio 90-92/100 · Da bere 2027-2033, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, Nov 2024

Vinified from fully destemmed grapes and set to age 18 months in old oak barriques, the 2023 Cornas Les Chailles radiates black cherry, pencil shaving and floral elegance through crushed violets. Delicate and smooth, the 2023 balances freshness with a pinpoint, refined finish.
