Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2029-2043, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, May 2026

Vinified with 50% whole clusters and matured for 12 months in pièces and demi-muids (without new oak), followed by six months in concrete egg, the 2023 Saint-Joseph Le Paradis Saint-Pierre is exquisite and delicate, revealing a perfumed bouquet of rose, lychee, citrus and dark fruits. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s juicy and fleshy, with a round, dense palate underpinned by a fine, gastronomic bitterness, framed by unctuous, velvety tannins. This is a beautifully balanced and characterful Saint-Joseph that ranks among the most distinctive cuvées of recent vintages and will reward cellaring.

Punteggio 96/100 · Da bere 2029-2044, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2026

Ultra-classic aromatics of ripe black cherries, black olives, bloody meat, and violets emerge from the 2023 Saint Joseph Paradis Saint Pierre, along with a beautiful sense of damp granite-like minerality. Based on 100% Syrah from the oldest vines of the estate and aged 15 months in barrels and demi-muids, it's fleshy and textured on the palate, with the classic 2023 more open style and ripeness. Medium to full-bodied, it has ripe velvety tannins and a great finish. Hide bottles for 4-5 years if you can hold off and it will shine over the following 15+ years. Drink 2029-2044.

Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2026-2035, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, Jan 2026

The 2023 Saint-Joseph Le Paradis Saint-Pierre ushers forth early fragments of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, crushed rocks, glimmers of licorice and lightly sketched cedar. Touching the medium to full-bodied palate with remarkable substance, the 2023 smartly frames it with lifting fresh cut all the way through to the refined finish. Outstanding.

Punteggio 91-93/100 · Da bere 2027-2036, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, Nov 2024

The 2023 Saint-Joseph Le Paradis Saint-Pierre emerges with elevated aromatic complexity, mingling orange rind, crushed flowers, red and black plum, iodine and graphite. Fleshy essences add another layer to the fray. Touching the palate with abundant flavor concentration, the 2023 is totally tasty, packing spot-on balance and remarkable intensity.
