2019 Raumland Riesling Tradition (36 months) Brut

The 2019 Riesling Brut includes 5% of reserve wine from 2018. Disgorged in February 2024 after almost four years on the lees, the intensely yellow-colored wine opens with intense and elegant, yeasty-scented fruit and bread aromas, indicating serious substance and complexity on the nose. Supple yet fresh and refined on the palate, this a generous, stimulating saline and textural Riesling that underwent malolactic fermentation, like all the wines at Raumland. This is a mouth-filling, dry and structured sparkling wine with gentle acidity and marvelous balance. 12% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in May 2024.
