Note di degustazione
(bottled in December of 2016): Medium Slightly candied berries and brown spices on the rather brooding nose. Dense, ripe and alive if youthfully closed, conveying excellent concentration to its flavors of dark raspberry, mocha and spices. Finishes with serious but ripe tannins and noteworthy persistence.

The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Villages offers light blueberry and red cherry fruit on the pastille-like nose. The palate is well balanced with juice black and red fruit with touches of orange rind on the finish. This represents perfectly fine drinking over the next 3-4 years, though my penchant this year is for their Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis (within the négoçiant range).
