2008 Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos

(all furmint): Bright gold. Slightly high-toned aromas of apricot, mint, salty minerality and sweaty bay leaf. Boasts terrific intensity to its flavors of fresh apricot and spices, with excellent acid cut giving lift to the middle palate. Not a particularly thick or glyceral 6 puttonyos wine but very sweet and rather gentle. Finishes spicy and fresh, with flavors that fade and then return and build on the palate.
