2020 Riesling Kastelberg Le Chateau

The 2020 Kastelberg Grand Cru is deep, intense and elegant on the utterly mineral and spicy nose that is currently less fruity than the 2021. Rich and generous on the palate, this is a complex and powerful, round and muscular Kastelberg Riesling with fine tannins and a long, very mineral finish. Still very tight and contracted, this is a promising and powerful Kastelberg that needs some years on the bottle to refine. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Andlau in November 2024.
