The 2020 Riesling Kinheimer Rosenberg Auslese ** (Golden Capsule) offers deep, concentrated and pure, fresh and precise fruit on the nose that intermingles ripe stone fruit and concentrated lemon aromas with notes of crushed slate. Very precise and even herbal. Intense and sweet but also savory and zesty on the palate, this Auslese shows a dense and sweet core with hints of caramel and becomes remarkably fresh and precise on the finish. This is definitely a wine to be cellared for at least a decade. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP 46 in July 2022.
