Saint-Cosme's 2016 Condrieu delivers a lusty, mouth-filling mélange of mandarin oranges and ripe apricots. Full-bodied, lush and silky, it's round and mouthfilling but finishes clean and dry. Just lovely stuff for drinking over the next 3-4 years.

The 2016 Condrieu is straight-up brilliant stuff, the finest Condrieu I’ve tasted from Luis Barruol. Awesome notes of orange blossom, white flowers, citrus oil, and crushed rocks all flow to a deep, rich, textured effort that has fabulous purity and precision. It’s a great example of Viognier from these steep, granite soils and is well worth seeking out.
Light green-hued yellow. Powerful, mineral-accented orchard and pit fruits on the nose, joined by a suave floral nuance as the wine stretches out. Sappy, penetrating and seamless in texture, offering vibrant tangerine, Anjou pear and white peach flavors and a sneaky hint of tarragon. Shows excellent focus and nervy, mineral cut on the finish, which lingers with outstanding tenacity.
