The second bottling of the 2023 Cuvée des Docteurs Melon à Queue Rouge Ouillé, bottled in December 2024, is a very perfumed Chardonnay from old vines on gravel soils and a south-facing exposition. Despite the year and the tendency of the place to ripen, the wine is quite light and tender, with notes of white fruit and flowers, harmonious, elegant and clean. It was fully topped up, and there are no traces of flor.

Sourced from a vineyard planted in 1947, the 2023 Arbois Cuvée des Docteurs Melon à Queue Rouge shows well. It offers delicate notes of yellow apple, lemon peel, ripe pear and white peach. Medium-bodied and refreshing, the 2023 concludes with lively energy on the sapid finish.
