The name and wine is homage to his grandmother who worked the vineyard after his grandfather died in the war. A blend of fruit from three vineyards over 75 years old. Wild red berries, a touch of cherry tomato, sweet red pepper, rust and slate. Lots of satisfying chew in these tannins, a little more ‘rustic’ but in a gorgeous cheeky way. (TC)
