The 2024 Riesling Hatzenporter Kirchberg Grosses Gewächs is from red, sandy slate. The nose is shy, giving next to nothing away. The palate is beautifully zesty, with a beautiful, supple ripeness that fizzes away with its citric charm that rests in stone and lovely pithiness on the finish. (Dry)

Fascinating herbal, green chile, nutty apple and greengage plum flavors, but this only begins to describe the complexity of this remarkable wine.
