2023 Gevrey Chambertin Les Cazetiers

The nose of Remoissenet’s 2023 Cazetiers is gorgeously open – full of sweet spice and ripe red berry fruit. It’s rich yet approachable, combining effortless power and persistence with an easy-drinking, moreish quality – doubtless in part to the age of the vines, which are 70 years old. It’s bursting with dark red cherry that evolves into crunchy raspberry on the fresh finish, before the long finish, dusted with pepper and clove spice. Beautiful.
