2021 Tokay Pinot Gris Reserve

The 2021 Pinot Gris Réserve is from one granite parcel in Niedermorschwihr, partly planted in 1947 with the rest of the vines around 30 years old. The nose comes with slight reduction, subtle smoke and ripe russet pear with a little pepper spice. The palate is generous with pear fruit and juiciness but still stony and precise in shape. That lovely flicker of smoky reduction also plays on the palate and continues on the long finish. (Dry)
