2020 Elgin Syrah

The 2020 Syrah Clonal Selection comes from five parcels, mostly from west and north Elgin (though there will be more from central Elgin in the future). Matured in 35% new oak, it has a pure nose of blackberry and blueberry, with just a very slight reduction. The palate is spicy and peppery on the entry - cracked black pepper and clove. Gentle grip with a vibrant, classically-styled finish. This should age well in bottle.
