Note di degustazione
More spice, ground pepper, and incense notes as well as a beautiful meatiness emerge from the 2017 Côtes Du Rhône La Reserve (70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre). Deep, rich, and beautifully concentrated, with a layered texture, it's another reference point Côtes Du Rhône from this estate. It can be drunk today or cellared for a decade. The Vacheron family, Bruno Gaspard, and consultant Philippe Cambie continue to work magic at this modestly sized estate located on the eastern edge of Châteauneuf du Pape. They produce a bevy of cuvees, all of which are noteworthy, with their two flagship Châteauneuf du Papes, the Les Quartz and La Reserve, flirting with perfection in just about every vintage.

Beautifully stated fruit purity with dark cherries and blackberries, as well as lightly tarry and herbal nuances. The palate has ripe, soft and rich fruit flesh. Really soft and smooth. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
75% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre. Understated nose, but the palate displays great complexity with forest floor, earth, black cherry and lovely cedar spice on the finish. Long fade-out on the finish. Fine-grained. Lovely range of flavour. (RH)
The 2017 Cotes du Rhone La Reserve is full-bodied, rich and velvety, easily the equal of many CdPs. It's also beautifully red fruited and floral, with a stunningly long, vibrant and zesty finish.
