Note di degustazione
The 2010 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Erstes Gewächs is clear, herbal, bright and fresh on the concentrated nose. On the palate, this is a juicy, round and well-balanced Gräfenberg with lovely grip and vitality. The wine is a true classic from a vintage that delivered the worst and the best. The finish is long and tensioned, well concentrated and very intense. A gorgeous wine with still a long life to come. Tasted at the domain in August 2020.

Complete contrast with the Spreitzer Oestricher Lenchen Rosengarten 2011 just tasted. Intense citrus freshness, touch of lime and white blossom and wild-flower honey. Delicate and yet still so fragrant. On the palate, a fine sour freshness with depth of lemon and grapefruit and a light pithy character. There's a touch of spice and lots of weight in the mouth to contrast with the delicacy of the aroma. Long and vivacious. (JH)
Just a touch more vegetal than in previous years. On the palate the Gräfenberg cannot be faulted in terms of concentration of fruit, a dash of minerality adds value, the acidity is well controlled. Just a little on the sweet side. (MS)
